Plastic surgeon issues a challenge to illusionist David Copperfield who claims to have found Fountain of Youth: Prove it!
9/11/2006
PALM HARBOR, FLA. – Plastic surgeon Dr. Randall Harrell has challenged worldfamous Illusionist David Copperfield to a duel ... of sorts ... regarding the location of the true Fountain of Youth.
Copperfield claims to have found it on the Caribbean island of Musha Cay, while
Harrell knows it really exists at The Fountain of Youth Institute, his full-service, cosmetic plastic surgery center right here on the west coast of Florida.
The formal challenge appeared on E! Online.
Copperfield recently spent $65 million to purchase four islands in the Bahamas, and
claims that one of those islands ... Musha Cay ... is home to the “true” Fountain of Youth. A private resort that rents for up to $392,000 a week, Musha Cay contains waters that Copperfield claims can eliminate bags and wrinkles and is the ultimate source of rejuvenation. The famous illusionist made these claims during a recent interview with the Reuter’s news service.
“Prove it,” says Harrell in a public challenge to Copperfield and his claims.
In fact, Harrell has invited Copperfield to join him in auditioning women 55-65 years
of age for the challenge. One participant will be treated by Copperfield at Musha Cay, while the other will be treated at Harrell’s Fountain of Youth Institute in Palm Harbor. Medical photography will be used to scientifically analyze each patient before and after treatment. The Fountain of Youth (that’s the one in Florida) will be allowed to use the latest medical technology and plastic-surgery techniques, Medi-Spa Laser options and cosmetic dentistry. Copperfield can use the healing waters from Musha Cay.
Following the treatments by Copperfield and Harrell, a national television audience
will make the final decision on where the true Fountain of Youth is located.
The world-renowned Fountain of Youth Institute is located at 34176 U.S. Highway
19 N. in Palm Harbor.
