Dr. Harrell’s Peel

Tampa Chemical Peels – Croton Oil Peels

Tampa chemical peels are a surgical procedure that uses a medical grade solution to improve and smooth the texture of the skin by removing its damaged outer layers. This procedure is one of the most effective treatments to improve facial blemishes, wrinkles, uneven skin pigmentation and tightening of the skin.

Candidates for Tampa Chemical Peels

Typically, patients over the age of 18 who are exhibiting signs of aging or want to correct uneven skin pigmentation, improve the appearance of facial blemishes, and achieve younger looking skin are good candidates for our Tampa chemical peels. It is important to discuss your health history candidly with Dr. Harrell as this is an important part of the consultation process. In order to determine if you are a candidate for a Croton Oil Chemical Peel you should schedule a consultation with Dr. Harrell for a comprehensive evaluation.

The consultation is a great time to ask any questions about the procedure, recovery process and to address any concerns you might have.

Recovery Process

Many factors can contribute to your expected recovery experience. Typically, a patient can expect 24-48 hours of discomfort. Pain medication is prescribed to you prior to surgery to minimize your discomfort. Many of our patients return to work within 1 week. Any concerns you have about the recovery process should be discussed with Dr. Harrell.
