Tampa Chemical Peels – Croton Oil Peels
The New Platinum Reverse Aging Peel Tampa has been developed and is now being offered by Dr. Randall Harrell.
Dr. Harrell developed the Platinum Reverse Aging Peel for those who wish to look younger, but do not want surgery or scarring. Dr. Harrell determines the depth for the peel based on the following parameters:
- Thickness of the skin
- Depth of wrinkle
- Type of skin (Face, Neck or mucosal skin)
The peel causes the epidermis to slough off the rough damaged skin during a time period that allows new skin to develop below. As the new skin quickly forms, the skin is being restored to appear similar to before the sun-damaged state. The peel has the best results on facial skin that has been sun damaged many years before. The peel also has a dramatic effect on stubborn acne scars.
Irreversible skin damage can happen to sunbathers not wearing sunscreen. Some of the sun-damaged skin we see occurred in the teenage years. One bad sunburn during the teenage years is enough to cause permanent damage. The damage typically shows up in the 30’s and 40’s. Left untreated, the skin becomes pigmented, uneven and can have deep wrinkles deeply etched in the skin.
The Tampa Platinum Reverse Aging peels uses a medical grade solution developed by Dr. Harrell to improve and smooth the texture of the skin by removing its damaged outer layers. This procedure is one of the most effective treatments to improve facial blemishes, wrinkles, uneven skin pigmentation and tightening of the skin.

Do I Need to Continue Other Treatments for Maintenance?
There is no other treatment like Botox®, and so it is usually recommended for those concerned with facial wrinkles to continue doing their Botox®. However, there is little to no need to continue chemical peeling, face skin peels, dermabrasion, or laser resurfacing.
