Breast lift

A woman’s breasts are really a harbinger of her age, whether she has children or whether she has had ups and downs on the weight scale. Your breasts can change so much over time.  What you may have looked like at the age of 18 may be nothing like what you look like at the age of 30 or beyond.  Due to aging, pregnancy, breast feeding, gravity, heredity and weight fluctuations your breasts may loose their youthful shape and firmness. Sometimes just a breast augmentation is not enough, especially if the nipples are too low and the skin is too saggy.

Randall Harrell MD, trained with the surgeon who invented the breast implant.  Dr. Harrell has been doing breast lifts for 25 years.  His outcomes are remarkable.  The real key to Dr. Harrell is, one size does NOT fit all.  He has women who may need a partial lift or may need a full lift.  When he examines you he can determine which lift you are a candidate for.

A Breast Lift Makes Your Breasts More Perky

A breast lift is also known as a Mastopexy.  It raises and firms the breasts by removing excess skin and tightening the surrounding tissues to reshape and support your new breast contour. Over time sometimes the areola can become enlarged and if you want them smaller Dr. Harrell can reduce the areolas at the time of the breast lift surgery.

A Breast Lift Can Be Done Alone or At The Same Time as A Breast Augmentation with Dr. Harrell

A breast lift alone will not significantly change the size of your breasts or give you that “Top Shelf” rounded out upper part of your breasts that so many women want today. You may need a breast augmentation to add volume and upper shaping.  Dr. Harrell will determine during the consultation if you are a good candidate.

Breast lift surgery can rejuvenate your figure and give you an uplifted breast profile that is youthful and sexy.

How Much Does a Breast Lift Cost

Are you one of many women who are experiencing sagging of your breast after loosing weight, pregnancy or breast-feeding? Your tendency to breast drooping could also be hereditary and already visible at a younger age. One permanent, effective solution to this problem is a breast lift, giving you back those perky, firm breasts, and a more youthful shape.

The Frequency of Breast Lift Surgeries have Increased 70% Since the Year 2000

According to statistics provided by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, breast lift procedures have increased 70% since 2000, twice as much as breast implant procedures.
A breast lift results in a figure with a breast profile that looks more uplifted so you will feel younger and more confident. The risks are minimal, the benefits are great, but how about the cost?

The Price of the Breast Lift Surgery Varies

The price varies a lot, it ranges from about $3,000 to $10,000, depending on the type of breast lift performed and the extensity of the procedure. The average figure provided by the American Society of Plastic Surgeon in 2014 is at $ 4,400, which refers to the surgeon’s fee only. This price does not include fees for anesthesiology, the operating room, medications, garments and other surgery related cost.

A regular breast lift may cost around $8,000 including anesthesiologist, surgery center, follow-up and other fees, whereas a so-called mini-lift typically costs less, starting at $ 6,000. A mini-lift is often chosen by patients with mild breast sagging, and is a less complex procedure. Is It More to Get Breast Implants with My Breast Lift?

Keep in mind, though, that adding implants to breasts is an additional procedure that comes with an additional price, and is referred to as breast augmentation. Many women wish to combine both a breast lift and a breast augmentation, which can be performed at that same time. In many cases, combining surgeries means a discounted price because this saves expenses for the surgery room, staff and so on.

Remember that the more qualified and experienced a surgeon and his staff, the higher the cost of a breast lift. It is not advisable to compromise your health and your surgical goals by selecting a less reputable breast lift center or surgeon. If money is an issue, reconsider, postpone, or ask your surgery center for a financing plan, including monthly payments that work with your budget.
